I have just read that over 800 books are being published today - wow I am so happy that my children read. They read just about anything they can lay their hands on in both English and French. I would like to think this a direct result of us throwing the TV away about 10 years ago - we never looked back and life is just so much more interesting. We meet way too many people who would have a life themselves if they stopped watching other peoples on so called 'reality tv shows'.
I would love to get one of those t-shirts which says "I have a first life" :-)
However I also need to highlight that it is "Banned Books Week" (link HERE) Yes there are still people who try and have books which upset them or go against their own beliefs banned - so that YOU don't even get to make you own mind up.
